Weihenstephan - Bayerische Stattbrauerei

Poured from a bottle into a goblet!

Appears a golden straw colour with plenty of fizz and a nice big white head.  Little lacing

Smells of sweet malts with some wheat.  Hints of nuts, banana, pepper and bubblegum

Tastes of bready malts which are sweet and balances well with the hops.  There is slight bitterness from the hops, but the spicy pepper, cloves come through straight away, and finishes with a fruity whack of banana and bubblegum.  Well balanced

Feels smooth and medium bodied; carbonation is good.  Refreshing and crisp

Overall, a great beer that I would definitely try again
85% - Good
